My name is Charles Deary from Northridge, California. I am an artist of many mediums with a concentration in Web and Graphic Design. I graduated from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor’s Degree of Art with a focus in graphic design and photography, with studies of HTML and CSS coding. While attending CSUN, I worked at META+Lab as a graphic artist (CSUN’s web app development team of computer science, marketing, and graphic/web artists) as well as working with Design Hub as a Graphic and Web Designer (On-campus design firm that works with non-profit organizations to fulfil their graphic and web needs).

After graduating, I started working in the beauty industry as a graphic artist for the company Joewell USA. Joewell is a brand of shears used by professional hairstylists around the world. I was responsible for creating digital marketing images, deal sheets, maintaining website and social media images, product packaging design, and I designed and created the website www.jwshears.com. I was also paid to travel to major beauty shows outside of Los Angeles, as well as outside of the state, to set up and sell shears at the shows. I left the company in August of 2018 to work as a freelance artist.

I am currently accepting new clients as well as looking to join a team of artists at a design firm, start-up tech company, or entertainment company. I want to help propel the success of many companies with clear visual media that properly communicates their intent and purposes. Please feel free to contact me with your business and design ideas.
